Through the request of the Jamhuriya center for graduate studies. Mogadishu data analysis commissioned a two-week professional raining for postgraduate diploma in statistics and research students. The training content and materials were designed to provide students with basic understanding and working knowledge of quantitative data management using SPSS and STATA. The training also covered skills of data collection, Analysis, visualization and interpretation of the data. The training strongly focused on practice and applied case studies during the training. The main goal of the training was to increase students’ knowledge and skills of data analysis techniques, implement the analysis on a computer through statistical packages (SPSS and STATA) and communicate the results clearly and concisely as well as to enhance the ability of graduates to adapt what they have learned to the job market and the real world.
