ABOUT THE COURSE

It is well known that any research study the best strategy is to investigate the problem in the whole population. But practically, it is always not possible to study the entire population. Alternatively, part of a whole can give sufficient dependable information if the procedures followed in collection of the part has been scientific.
This course will provide a set of foundational sampling techniques, Trainees will be introduced to methods, theory, and applications of sampling methodology, covering the topics of probability sampling ( Simple Random, Cluster Sampling, Stratified Sampling and Systematic Sampling) and Non-probability sampling ( Convenience Sampling, Quota Sampling, Judgement Sampling and Snowball Sampling). Additionally, Ms. Excel and STATA will be used for the selection of sample.

This is 5 days training program at evening (4 pm – 7pm) and the schedule will be as follows
